Iliana Flohr Headshot

Iliana Flohr

Actor & Performer

About

I am a theater artist, actor, and researcher currently based between New York and Boston. My artistic focus bridges rigorous classical text work with dynamic contemporary physical performance. Deeply invested in the mechanics of storytelling, I split my academic and creative time studying English and Philosophy at Wellesley College while training and performing across the bridge as a dual-enrollment student at MIT.

With a foundational background spanning over a dozen Shakespearean productions, my relationship with classical text is both analytical and deeply physical. Whether stepping into the psychological depths of Hamlet, exploring the comedic rhythms of Benvolio, or shaping original curricula to teach dramatic analysis to high school students, I view the stage as a vital space for philosophical inquiry and visceral human connection.

This summer, I am further expanding my artistic toolkit by diving into intensive professional training at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting Summer Conservatory, alongside the Studio 2B Shakespeare Intensive under Patrick Page. I am driven by projects that demand fierce intellectual curiosity, sharp text analysis, and collaborative physical risk.
